The Pencil

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

"There are 5 things you need to know," he told the pencil, "Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be."

"One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand."

"Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil."

"Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."

"Four: The most important part of you will always be what's inside."

"And Five: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write."

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.

Now replacing the place of the pencil with you.  Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God's hand. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess.

Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but you'll need it to become a stronger person.

Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

Four: The most important part of you will always be what's on the inside.

And Five: On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties.

Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.

A terrifying fact~The end of the world?

So I think, I've been for a while in a 'Pause' mode but for sure the time never pause, so many things happened in every seconds. Here in my head, there's a lot of things as well, but I was stuck and I don't know how to get it off  my head. The world is facing a serious matters everywhere. Middle East countries with the Dictator issue, Japan with Tsunami and earthquake and not to mention, all countries actually was facing their own crisis. And the country which is neither facing disaster nor dictator issues, was busy giving their judgement and denounce to the world about what's had happened in Japan is actually a punishment from God for their violent in World War II , or what people in Middle East should do in a better or lenient way to get their Dictator down, and at the same time, same country is actually facing a disaster of social degradation among their people. Well am not here to condemn anyone, I was just thinking, are we near to the end of the world? Only Allah knows when is it, but the signs of the Judgement Day(Qiamah) are clearly mentioned in Quran and Hadith. I would like to share some of the signs here inshaallah. So, the  signs which are in Red color already in present.

1. Knowledge will be taken away (by the death of people of knowledge), and ignorance will prevail.

"Knowledge of Islam will be taken away while ignorance will increase. This removal of knowledge will be because old scholars will die and fewer and fewer new scholars will replace them. The leaders of the Muslims will be chosen from ignorant people, and they will rule according to their whims." [Today, studying Islam formally is considered to be an inferior career in most of the Muslim world. The leaders of the Muslim world are more known for their political or military prowess (oppressive ability?) than Islamic knowledge.]

2. Wine (intoxicants, alcohol) will be drunk in great quantities

 3. Illegal sex will become widespread.

4. Earthquakes will increase.

5. Time will pass more quickly.

6. Tribulations (fitan) will prevail.

7. Bloodshed will increase.

8. A man will pass by the grave of another and wish he was in the latter’s place.

9. Trustworthiness will be lost, i.e. when authority is given to those who do not deserve it.

10. People will gather for prayer, but will be unable to find an imam to lead them.

11. The number of men will decrease, whilst the number of women will increase, until for every man there are 50 women. (* I don't know the latest scale)

12. The Euphrates will reveal a treasure of gold, and many will die fighting over it, each one hoping to be the one who gains the treasure.

13. The Romans (Europeans) will come to a place called A’maq or Wabiq, and an army of the best people will go forth from Madinah to face them.

14. The Muslim conquest of Rome.

15. The Mahdi (guided one) will appear, and be the Imam of the Muslims.

16. Jesus Christ(Prophet Isaa) will descend in Damascus, and pray behind the Mahdi.

17. Jesus will break the cross and kill the swine, i.e. destroy the false christianity.

18. The Antichrist (al-masih al-dajjal, the false christ) will appear, with all his tools of deception, and be an immense trial. He will be followed by 70,000 Jews from Isfahan (present-day Iran).

19. The appearance of Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog), and the associated tribulations.

("Gog and Magog (two hidden tribes of people) will break free of the dam that holds them back, and ravage the earth. They will drink all the water, and kill people until Allah sends against them a worm which will wipe them out." [This is roughly before/during the time of Isa, although it is not entirely clear.] )

20. The emergence of the Beast from the Earth, carrying the Staff of Moses and the Seal of Solomon, who will speak to the people, telling them they did not believe with certainty in the Divine Signs.

21. A major war between the Muslims (including Jews and Christians who truly believe in Jesus after his return) led by the Imam Mahdi, and the Jews plus other non-Muslims led by the Antichrist.

22. Jesus will kill the Antichrist at the gate of Ludd (Lod in present-day Israel, site of an airport and a major Israeli military base).

23. A time of great peace and serenity during and after the remaining lifetime of Jesus.

24. Wealth will come so abundant that it will become difficult to find someone to accept charity.

25. Arabia will become a land of gardens and rivers. [ it has started, many hotels and big construction projects are being made there, example, Hotel Burj-al-Arab]

26. Society will then decay.

27. The buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daws will again sway in circumambulation (tawaf) around the idol Dhul-Khulsah.

28. A great fire in the Hijaz, seen by the inhabitants of Busra.

29. Three major armies will sink into the earth: one in the east, one in the west, one in Arabia.

30. An Abyssinian leader with thin shins will destroy the Ka’bah.

31. The huge cloud of smoke.

32. The sun will rise from the west (its place of setting).

33. A gentle wind which will take the souls of the believers.

34. There is no-one left on the earth saying, "Allah, Allah" or "There is no god except Allah."

35. Eventually the Day of Judgment is established upon the worst of the people, who copulate like donkeys in public.

36. The blowing in the Trumpet by the Angel Israfil, upon which
everyone will faint except as Allah wills.

37. The second blowing in the Trumpet, upon which everyone will be resurrected.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also said:
1. Alcohol will be called Sherbat, and will be considered Halal 2. Interest will be called Trade, and will be considered Halal 3. Bribes will be called Gifts, and will be considered Halal

4. Women will be naked in spite of wearing dresses. This Hadith has baffled the Ulema for a very long time-until now: The 3 kind of naked women are (i) Those who wear see-through dresses (ii) Those who wear tight dresses and (iii) those whose dresses are so short, that they expose the body.

That's it but there's more actually, well looking at the present signs we can see clearly that the Qiyamah day is within touching distance. So quickly, check ourself, if the day comes, are we ready for it? Wisely fix up the hole between you and your Lord. Get repent, it's never too late. Doha your best on whatever you have in your hands *Even if the Day of Judgment should arrive and you are holding a sapling in your hand, plant it'. (Prophet Muhammad SAW*).  Enjoy worshiping Allah and for being close to Him because  that day will definitely NOT fun!

The Cow 2:255, I don't understand it

It's a winter, the weather was extremely cold and there's a little boy selling tissues on the corner, of a big shopping complex, the people were in and out of the cold. The little boy was so cold that he wasn't trying to sell many tissues and he's shivering so badly as he just wore a piece of clothes.

He walked up to a nearest stall and there's man that looked nice with his bright face and smile, then he said hardly as his teeth touched each others, "Hello sir, you wouldn't happen to know where a poor boy could find a warm place to sleep tonight would you? You see, I sleep in a box up around the corner there and down the alley and its awful cold in there for tonight. Sure would be nice to have a warm place to stay."

The man looked at the little poor boy with his eyes full of empathy and said, "I would tell you for sure, you go down the street to that small white building and you knock on the door. When they come out the door you just say The Cow 2:225 and they  will let you in."

So he did. He walked up the steps and knocked on the door, a man answered and the door opened widely. The man with a white hairs and bright face smiled in front of him.

He looked up and said, "The Cow 2:225."
The man said, "Come on in, son."

He took him in and he sat him down in a split bottom rocker in front of a great big old fireplace, and he went off. The boy sat there for a while and thought to himself: The Cow 2:255. I don't understand it, but it sure makes a cold boy warm.

Later he came back and asked him "Are you hungry?"
He said, "Well, just a little. I haven't eaten in a couple of days, and I guess I could stand a little bit of food,"

The man took him in the kitchen and sat him down to a table full of wonderful food. He ate and ate until he couldn't eat any more. Then he thought to himself:The Cow 2:255 ... Boy, I sure don't understand it but it sure makes a hungry boy full.

The man took him upstairs to a bathroom to a huge bathtub filled with warm water, and he sat there and soaked for a while. As he soaked, he thought to himself: The Cow 2:255 ... I sure don't understand it, but it sure makes a dirty boy clean. You know, I've not had a bath, a real bath, in my whole life. The only bath I ever had was when I stood in front of that big old fire hydrant as they flushed it out.

The man came in and got him. He took him to a room, tucked him into a big old feather bed, pulled the covers up around his neck, kissed him goodnight and turned out the lights. As he lay in the darkness and looked out the window at the snow coming down on that cold night, he thought to himself: The Cow 2:225... I don't understand it but it sure makes a tired boy rest.

The next morning he heard a sound like the man sing a song, even he don't understand, it really pleasant to his ears and make he felt peace. Then after some time the man came back up and took him down again to that same big table full of food. After he ate, he took him back to that same big old split bottom rocker in front of the fireplace and picked up a big old book. He sat down in front of him and looked into his young face.

"Do you understand The Cow 2:255?" the man asked gently.
He replied, "No, Sir, I don't. The first time I ever heard it was last night when the nice man at the stall told me to use it,"

He opened the Holy Book, Quran to The Cow(Baqarah) 2:255 and began to recite the verse.

“Allah! There is no god but He – the living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creature As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The supreme (in glory).”
[Surah al-Baqarah 2:255]

Right there, in front of that big old fireplace, he gave his heart and life to Allah. He sat there and thought: The Cow 2:255. I understand it now and it sure makes a lost boy feel safe.

لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله

There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

My Beloved

There was a time in my youth,
When Islam was only a custom.
They said "say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..
And pray, you'll go to Heaven."

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,
Just a word, and simple act.
Thereafter I'm absorbed in this world again,
With my 'assured' place in Paradise intact.

But this was not to be my fate
For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.
I learnt of a man who struggled so hard
When his mission was from the start.

Spoke gently, kindness he knew.
Never fearing to say what's right,
His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk
To comfort a crying child.
To mend his clothes, or do the chores,
Never complaining, he always smiled.

A living he made with his bare hands,
The same that held his mighty sword.
Valour shone from the edge of his blade,

His smell was always of musk,
And cleanliness he kept at his best.
Stark contrast with the heroes of today,
Who stink of beer and sweat.

He held the hands of his companions.
Unashamed to play with many children.
So modest, so humble, a perfect example,
That strangers could not recognise him.

His eyes slept little for nights were precious,
His prayers he treasured much greater.
To pray Tahajjud in the depths of night,
Seeking forgiveness, and nearness to his Creator.

He broke his tooth for me at Uhud,
And bled for me at Ta'if.
He cried for me, tears of concern,
Just so I could have this belief.

His enemies admired his teachings,
Uniting every religion, every clan.
Till ISLAM came to every corner of the world,
O, but indeed he was only a man.

To own a house, or build his wealth
Was not his main priority.
To establish ISLAM was more essential,
To bring us under a Higher Authority.

Don't you want him to plea for your case,
When before ALLAH-The Judge-you stand?
Don't you wish to be around his fountain,
A burning desire to drink from his hand?

So I love him more than all creation,
My Leader, my Humble Prophet.
Muhammad (SAWS) was a mercy to all mankind

And to me, he is ... MY BELOVED!

BY Allama Iqbal
He slept on a mat of rushes, But the crown of Chosroes lay beneath the feet of his followers; He chose the nightly solitude of Mount Hira, And founded a nation, law and government; He passed his nights with sleepless eyes, That his Millet might sleep on Chosroes throne In the hour of battle, iron was melted by the flash of his sword. At prayer time, tears fell like drops of rain from his eyes. In his prayer for Divine help, his Amen' was a sword, Which extirpated the lineage of kings. He inaugurated a new Order in the world, He brought the empires old to an end: In his sight the high and the low were one, He sat with the slave at table one; He burnt clear the distinctions of birth and clan. His fire consumed all this trash and bran
P/S: Ya Rasulullah, we missed you a ton Y_Y

Keeping My Love For You

A young girl I know who is much in love,
she's always infatuated with the idea of love.

She sees couples holding hands,
she comes to wonder,
when will it be my turn...

She wants to keep that heart full of infatuation,
for the right man, the wonderful husband.

She sees handsome men with beautiful women,
do I even look like anyone of them?
She gets envious of these people,
hoping that she could be just like them.

Am I not beautiful or smart enough?
Because I'm being ignored and they'd always blabber stuff.

O dear God, help me please,
correct my intention and put my heart at ease.

Make me tawakkal and redha,
make me dependent on You, ya Allah.

I don't want to be envious of these worldly things,
please console me, tell me I'm doing the right thing.

Tell me it's right to keep first my love,
for You ya Rabbi, and for the man I love.

When he comes to take my hand,
I promise to be the best I can.
A wife, a daughter, a mother and a child,
of course being Your servant is the most worthwhile.
