Assalamualaykum all,
Alhamdulillah, all praises to Allah, who'd gave us a chance to still alive until today. Mashaallah, everyday is a great day as we always have something to do, we're aware of whats we do and we know the purpose to do so. Islam is a manual of life, from small to huge stuffs, we're guided. We have a divine Book, Quran and hadith as a reference so we won't lost in our journey and if sometimes we're confusing of varies direction, we would definitely refer back to our guidance. Thats hows Muslim live their life, with such an amazing manual of life since thousand years ago. Allahuakbar!
Language is really an interesting and unique topic to talk about, different tribes speak a different language and even if we're in a same country, different region might talk in a different slang.subhanallah! I have a light conversation with my best Ukhti this morning, about language and more specific arabic.
Why we as muslim should learn arabic or at least try to do so. Ninety percent of the world's Muslims do not speak Arabic as their native language. Yet in daily prayers, when reading the Qur'an, or even in simple conversations with each other, Arabic rolls off any Muslim's tongue readily. Like we always uttered, syukron, jazakallah, ma'assalamah and so on. It may be broken, but most Muslims make the attempt to speak and understand at least some Arabic.

Why is Arabic so important to understanding the faith of Islam?
Regardless of our linguistic, cultural, and racial differences,we Muslims form one community of believers. This community is based on our shared faith in One Almighty God, and the guidance He has sent down to mankind. His final revelation to mankind, the Qur'an, was sent over 1400 years ago in the Arabic language. Arabic thus serves as a common language among us, the diverse community of believers.
The original Arabic text of the Qur'an has been preserved from the time of its revelation. Translations have been done into various languages, but they all refer back to the original Arabic. In order to fully understand the magnificent words of our Lord, Muslims make every attempt to understand the rich and poetic classical Arabic language. Thats it! When we translated Arabic to English or in my language, Malay, the originality beauty of Allah's word will not be the same as in Arabic. Thats why we should learn Arabic because we want to know what exactly behind Allah's words. I will try to learn and I wish I could learn it in Egypt, one day, Inshaallah.
If we could learn various language it will gives us a lot of benefits and I knew one of my friend that learn five language, Mashaallah. Well done! maybe I should start learn some others language from now on, well better late than nothing! Oh wait a minute ,maybe I should re-do my assignment first, as I need to submit it this evening! See, there's a lot of things I have to do! Ok, until then, take care fo yourself friend, keep up your faith and remember Allah always!
"O mankind, surely We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you may know each other." (Qur’an 49:13)
