Still alive is nothing without gratefulness

Juma'ah Mubarak..

I'm here, still alive, still breathing, still struggle to get closer to You, still learning to know You better, still and always want to obey You although my actions sometimes doesn't reflected that. Allah please forgives me for all my sins, hidden or obvious, with intention or without intention, when i'm alone or in public. If I count my good deeds, i never could compare it with all that You provided for me in order to obey You. Its nothing, then just a small effort from Your servant to show that I'm really grateful for being here, in dunya and for being Your servant. Should I waste another extend period You've given to me? No, i won't, i'll try my best to use every minutes You've given to improve myself.

Am I a pious daughter? Am I an excellent student? Am I a good muslim? there's still alot of unanswered question in my mind. I'm trying to be pious daughter of my beloved umi and abi, an excellent student for society and a good muslim for ummah, inshaallah!

A girl and two young man beside her

This is a real story happened in the United State of America.
It was about a sister from Malaysia who works in U.S. She covered up herself properly with hijab and she has a good manners. One night this girl was on her way back home from work. She took a shortcut to reach home. The road she's taken was quite hidden and there's not much people passed by at that time. It is relatively late, she felt afraid and nervous walking alone, along the dark and quite way and suddenly she saw a man (White American) resting against the wall at the side lane. She starting to feel scared and her heart beats very fast. She whishpered to her heart, "What he can do when I pray to Allah, to protect me?'. She read ayatul Kursi repeatedly with hope that Allah would help her.

At the time she passed the stranger man
, she managed to turn and can recognized the man's face. fortunately, the man doesn't do anything to her and she was safe until she reach home.

The next morning, she read the newspaper that a woman was raped by a man at the lane of the road that she taken last night just 10 minutes after she crossed the lane. She's very confident the man that she saw last night is the rapist.

On his sense of responsibility she directly went to the police station and make a complaint. She can identify the suspect in the Parade camera and after investigation done, police can prove that the man is a rapist for real.

But this girl wondering, why the man did not make her as a victim although she was walking alone at that night. She really want to know his reason. So, she requested the police permission to talk to the rapist just before the sentence passed (before the man brought to another place)

She asked the rapist ..

"Why did you not  do anything to me on that night even though you know that I'm alone? "

The rapists answer:

"No, you are not alone. That night I saw TWO young man walking with you. One on your right side and the other one was by your left side. If you were alone of course you will be my victim. "

The woman feel very shocked at the moment she heard it from the rapist. She feel very grateful to Allah to protect her when she invokes His protection by recite Ayatul kursi.

p / s: MORAL OF THIS STORY?

Trust in Allah and believe full-heartedly when we invoke towards Him. He always help us, provides us with protection although we might disobey Him all the time, mashaallah. The two young man that mentioned in the story, might be an angel that sent by Allah in order to protect the woman who's invokes for His protection. Subhanallah. May this true story from our sister would firm our faith and believe to Allah's protection and His power to control everything!

"... He who read the ayat Kursi when lying in bed, the angel of God represent two maintain them until dawn. Whoever who recite al-Kursi when in pain He consented to help him ... "[From Abdullah bin 'Amr r.a.]

May Allah guides and protects us from the evil (shaytan la'natullah)

Miss Jannah Wannabe

Dear sisters in Islam, here the truly honoured woman that we should follow her step on live a life.
The story of Fatimah Az-Zahrah R.A, beloved princess of Muhammad SAW.

What better example of a women is there than the daughter of the Prophet (s.w.a), Fatimah az-Zahrah (r.a)? When she saw that her father was constantly saying, “O my Community,” she wanted to do something herself for the benefit of this Community. when God ordered the Prophet s.w.a to find a husband for his daughter, the Prophet s.w.a called all the Companions without discrimination and said to them, “God has ordered me to say that whoever recites the Quran from beginning to end tonight may marry my daughter Fatimah, if she consents.”

That night, all the Companions tried to recite the Quran from beginning to end. All stayed at the mosque trying to finish except Ali ibn Abi Talib (r.a) who went home and slept. Everyone, including the blessed
Prophet (s.w.a) assembled in the mosque when Bilal (r.a) recited the call for the dawn prayer. After performing the dawn prayer, Prophet Muhammad (s.w.a) asked, who finished the Quran last night so that I can marry him to my daughter Fatimah?” No one was able to answer, because it is very difficult to finish the thirty parts of the Quran in only seven or eight hours.

Ali ibn Abi Talib (r.a) said, “O Messenger of God, I finished reciting the Quran last night.”

The other Companions looked at him and said, “How is it that you finished the Quran? You slept all night.”

He said, “No, I completed Quran from beginning to end.”

The Prophet (s.w.a) said to Ali (r.a) “Who is your witness?”

Ali (r.a) said, “God is my witness and you, O Prophet (s.w.a), are my witness that I completed it. O Messenger of God, I recited the following: “There is no God but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God” three times; “I seek the forgiveness of God” seventy times; the Opening Chapter once; the Chapter
of Sincerity three times; the Chapter of the Dawn once; then the Chapter of Humanity once; There is no god but God” ten times ; and ten times “Peace and the blessings of God be upon Muhammad and his family.”

The Prophet (s.w.a) said, “As God bears witness, I also bear witness that Ali has completed the Quran.” If you recite what he recited, it is equivalent to having completed the Quran.”

The Prophet (s.w.a.) asked Fatimah (r.a), “o Fatimah, do you accept Ali as your husband?”

She said, “On one condition.”

All the Companions looked at Ali (r.a), at Fatimah (r.a), and at the Prophet (s.w.a). the Prophet’s face changed as he wondered why Fatimah (r.a) said this? What could the condition be? The angel Gabriel (a.s) came and told him, “O Prophet, do not make a quick decision concerning her. God is telling you to
ask her what her condition is.”

The Prophet (s.w.a) said, “O Fatimah, what is your condition?”

She said, “The condition does not concern Ali, but it is related to me. If that condition is fulfilled, I will accept. If not, I will never accept to marry Ali.”

Again, the angel Gabriel (a.s) came to the Prophet (s.w.a) saying, “God is ordering you to ask her what her condition is.” Now look at what God had put into her heart and consider the benefit and station of women in spirituality.

The Prophet (s.w.a) said, “O Fatimah, what is your condition?”

She said, “I hear you continuously, day and night, praying for your Community. You say “O my Lord! Give me permission to lead my Community to you! Forgive them! Purify them! Take away their sins,
difficulties and burdens!” I hear you, and know how much you suffer for your Community. I know from what you have said that when you pass away, you will still be saying, “My Community!” before your Lord, in your grave, and on the Judgement Day. My father, I see you suffering so much for your Community. Since that love of your Community is also in my heart, I want your Community as my dowry. If you accept, I will marry Ali.”

She asked for all of the Prophet’s Community, everyone without discrimination. What was the Prophet (s.w.a) going to say? It was not in his hand to give such a dowry. He waited for Gabriel (a.s), but Gabriel did not come quickly. He kept him waiting for some time, then came and said,

“God sends you His greetings and accepts Fatimah’s request. He gives her what she asked for her dowry to marry Ali,” the Prophet (s.w.a) immediately stood up and performed two rakats of prostrations of thankfulness to his Lord.

Fatimah (r.a) was only concerned for the salvation of the Community of the Prophet (s.w.a). No one is going to be outside of her dowry because if God removes one person from the dowry, it will be as if her marriage to Ali (r.a) had been invalid. Therefore, she is going to take the entire Community under her wing and they shall enter with her into Paradise.

This is from the power of one Muslim woman. She will take everyone with her into Paradise.

What about other such women in islam? What will their power be? What about saints? What about prophets? God has created human beings pure. He keeps them pure with such power as that of the Prophet (s.w.a), Abu Bakr (r.a) Umar (r.a) Uthman (r.a), Ali (r.a), and especially our grandmother, Fatimah az-Zahrah (r.a), as well as our Grandshaykh, our Shaykh, and the masters of the Naqshbandi Order and other orders.

May God guide us and all seekers in the Way of Divine Love and the Divine Presence.

Women are honoured to carry themselves the greatest secret - that of human life.

Jalaluddin Rumi wrote:

The Prophet, to whose speech the whole world was enslaved,
Used to say, “Speak to me, O Aisha!”
The Prophet said that women dominate men of intellect
and Possessors of hearts,
but ignorant men dominate women,
for they are shackled by the ferocity of animals.
They have no kindness, gentleness, or love,
Since animality dominates their nature.
Love and kindness are human attributes,
Anger and sensuality belong to the animal.
She is not your “Sweetheart” – She is the radiance of God!

Pictures speak louder than words?

Assalamualaykum all...

Whats come out into your mind when you see this picture? I have got this picture from my sister's site. She's a teacher that won 'the most stylish teacher award' in her school. Well, thats not the point. Back to the photo. I relate this with my sister because she's a teacher and I guess she must be very concern about this issue, parents attitude towards teacher. Parents nowadays, tend to blame on teacher rather on their own children, when their kid perform badly in their academic. Whats happen? They believe their child more than they do to the teacher. This is because, if they blame on the child, thats mean they blame themselve, they have provide everything for their child but yet, they've fail to control or monitor their child and the result represented the failure of the parents. Ok, let say, if we won't blame on the parents nor the teachers, so who's should be blame? Government? thats an easy way to escape from being blamed! So what do you think?

Beautiful Poems By Imam Shafi' (Rahimullah)

A friend who does not benefit at the time of hardships,
Is close to an enemy on the scales,
The friend does not remain, during all times,
Nor does the brother, except for consolation.

I searched the days, with all my strengths
for a brother to trust, but my search was fruitless,
The lands and those who live them were barren,
As though its people were not people [I wanted them to be

If a man spreads his secret with his own tongue
and blames another... then he is a fool.
If his own breast is too narrow to conceal his own secret,
Then the breast of the one in whom he places it is even narrower.

Part from the days where you used to do as you wish
And restrain your soul when the decree of Allah is ordained
And don't despair over the events of the past
For none of the events of the dunya were ever meant to remain
And be a man who is firm upon his affairs
And whose character is that of pardoning and nobility
And there is no sadness or happiness that is continuous
Just as there is there is no comfort or pain.

If you are a person who is satisfied with what he has
Then you and the owner of all possessions are equal
And upon he who's open valley death descends upon
Then there is no earth or sky to protect you from it
And the earth of Allah is vast but
When the ordainment of Allah descends even the open valley congests.

~ Imam Shafi

"And from misery is that you love, and (the one) who you love, loves other than you,
or that you want good for a person, and he wants to hurt you".

I complained to Waki about the weakness of my memory
So he ordered me to abandon disobedience
And informed me that the knowledge is light
And that the light of Allaah is not given to the disobedient

- Imam Shafi

Let not your tongue mention the shame of another
For you yourself are covered in shame and all men have tongues.
If your eye falls upon the sins of your brother
Shield them and say: "O my eye! All men have eyes!"

Beautiful Woman and her husband

A simple story i would like to share, from my sister in Islam,
There was this beautiful woman, who wanted to get married, but she wanted a very pious husband, so she said that she'll marry the man who recites the whole Quran every single day, fasts for the whole year and stays awake and worships Allah all throughout the night. She was a very beautiful woman, and a lot of suitors wanted to marry her, but they knew they couldn't fulfill the conditions she set. Until this one man stepped forward and said he could fulfill them. So the Imam got both of them married.

After the first night of the marriage, the wife sees that the husband doesn't recite the whole of the Quran, nor does he fast, nor does he stay awake in the worship of Allah, she decided to let it roll on for a few weeks to see if there were any changes, there weren't, so she filed a complaint and asked for a divorce.

They are both taken in front of the judge, and the judge asked, 'What were the conditions of the marriage?' the man replied 'They were for me to recite the whole Quran daily, keep fast for the whole year and to worship Allah all throughout the night.'

The Judge asked, 'did you fulfill them? The man calmly answered, '...yes.'

The judge answers, 'you lie; your wife has said that you don't, that's why she's asking for a divorce'.

But the man insisted that he had fulfilled the conditions, so the judge asked, 'did you recite the full Quran every day?' The man answered yes. The Judge, baffled asked, 'how? How can you do that?' The man coolly answered, 'I recite Surah Ikhlas three times a day and according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), reciting Surah Ikhlas three times is equivalent to reciting the whole Quran.'

The Judge was intrigued, so he asked, 'how did you fast the whole year?' The man answered, ' I fasted for the whole month of Ramadan, then kept another six fasts in the month of Shawwal, according to Prophet Muhammad(SAW), keeping all of the fast of Ramadan then keeping six fasts in the month of Shawwal, is as if you have fasted for the whole year.'

The Judge remained silent, he couldn't give a reply saying the man was wrong, so finally he asked, 'how did you stay awake all night and worship Allah, when your wife saw you sleeping?' The Judge thought the man wouldn't be able to answer this one, but the man, cool as a cucumber answered, 'I prayed Salatul Isha with jamaat, then the next day prayed Salatul Fajar with jamaat, according to Prophet Muhammad (saw), the one who prays Salatul Isha and Salatul Fajar with jamaat, it is as if he had stayed up all night worshipping Allah.'

The Judge sat there looking at the man; the final verdict was about to be released... He said to the man and his wife, '...go, just go, there is nothing wrong with this marriage'.

The man was one of the companion of the our beloved Prophet, Salman Farsi (ra), and the Judge was our Prophet Muhammad himself (saw).

The moral of the Story- ISLAM is not hard; it is great and a simple way of life.

Adolf Hitler: Siapa kau sebenarnya?

"A" menjawab sumbernya dari TV pastinya.

Lalu "B" pun  berkata :
"Baiklah, pihak British telah melakukan lebih dahsyat dari itu…pihak Jepun semasa zaman Emperor mereka juga sama…tapi kenapa dunia hanya menghukum Hitler dan meletakkan kesalahan malahan memburukkan nama Nazi seolah-olah Nazi masih wujud hari ini sedangkan mereka melupakan kesalahan pihak British kepada Scotland, pihak Jepun kepada dunia dan pihak Afrika Selatan kepada kaum kulit hitam mereka?”

"A" lantas meminta jawapan dari "B:. Beliau menyambung : “ Ada dua sebab -

friend versus true friend

One youngster started coming home very late. Several days passed in this manner. One day the father asked, Son, you come home late every night. Where do you go? The son replied, O Father, I have a friend. I visit him every night. We sit and talk. That is why it gets so late. The father said, Really? Does one still find friends in this age? I was under the impression that friends existed in previous times. What use is a friend these days? Are there really such friends in this age? The son replied, Yes, O Father! He is such a friend, one who says that he will shed his blood where my perspiration drips! The father said, Very well. Tomorrow, when you go visit him, take me with.

The following evening the father deliberately delayed setting off, with the result that it was past the normal time of his visit when they reached the friends house. The front door was locked. The son knocked, and also called out to his friend. After having called out several times, the friend, from inside the house, asked, Who is it? The son replied, It is I, your friend, mentioning his name. The friend said, Oh! You have come rather late. He came and opened the door. Before the son could say a word, this friend of his, the one who had said that he was prepared to shed his blood where the sons perspiration drips, quickly spoke, I slept rather late. I'm still feeling very drowsy. At this moment my tabiyet does not feel at all right. I ask to be forgiven. So saying, he closed the door and latched the chain again, and went back inside. The father spoke, You had said that he is your friend. How has he turned out to be? Come. Let me show you. I have a friend living nearby. I have gone old, and so has he. I have not visited him for several years. Come. Let us go to him. Then you can judge for yourself.

So saying, they set off again. When they reached the father's friend's house, the father called out to his friend. Immediately the friend replied from inside, Hang on. I'm coming! It's many years since you have visited me!

Kindly note that the son's friend did not recognise the voice of his nightly visitor, but the father's friend immediately recognised who it was, even after a lapse of several years!

After a short delay the door opened, but what a spectacle the friend presented! On his head was a dish, in his one hand he held a bag, and in the other hand a staff (lathi). After salam and formalities were over, the father asked his friend, pointing to the items he was carrying What is all this? The friend replied, I thought to myself, My friend has come, after such a long time, at such an odd hour! He must be in some difficulty! It is possible that he is impoverished and hungry. So this dish contains some food. I shall feed him from this. Or, it may be possible that somebody he owes money to, has made life difficult for him.

So, this bag contains some money to give to him. Or, it may be possible that some enemy is after him, and a fight is imminent. So, this stick(lathi) will serve some use. Dear friend! I'm somewhat old, but i'll still be able to dish out a shot or two! The father reassured him, There is no fight, there is no debt, and I am not famished. This here is my son. He has found himself a friend. I have seen this friend of his. So, now I have brought him to see my friend.

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has actually asked to be protected from the type of friend one comes across today. He has said,
"0 Allah! I seek protection from such a trickster friend - I am seeking protection from such a deceitful friend - that he stares at me so fixedly with both his eyes, and it appears that he stares at me with eyes of tremendous love, but in his heart he is tearing me apart and devouring me! I am seeking protection from such a cunning, conniving friend! "

How does one know that he is such a deceitful person? Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) added, "Whenever he sees anything good in me, he buries it! Whenever he sees anything favourable, anything good, any perfection in me, he buries it! He does not bring it to his lips, never mind tell anybody about it. However, whenever he sees anything bad in me, he goes around telling others about it, he publicises it. He discloses my faults to others! 0 Allah! I seek protection from such a friend."

In these times one will find more friends of this type (with a few exceptions).

THERE ARE MANY FRIENDS OUT THERE , BUT TRUE, SINCERE FRIENDS ARE INDEED VERY FEW.

What a Wonderful World

Oh what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow.
His door is open no matter who you are
Just take the first step youll see its not so far
Down this road that holds all the answers
Open your heart to something greater.
His holy book speaks pure and true
And always tells us what we must do
His last Prophet was sent as a guide
An example by which we abide.
There is salvation for those who seek
To find the one and only source of peace
An understanding of why we are here
Who created us who we must fear.
So what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow.
Such different people from different lands
Were all descendants from the first man
We can be one nation facing one
God With no hatred, no envy, no war.
Created equal are you and I
Which of His favors can we ever deny
We may have everything or nothing at all
But our purpose lies with this call.
To worship Him to praise Him all day
Until the straight path lets not go astray
He is the greatest and most merciful
And everything acts upon his will.
So what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow.
Like every sunrise that brings forth each day
Brings new meaning, new hope, a new way
Such is the blessing bestowed upon us
Every hardship and heartache will pass.
From the mountains to the deep blue sea
Everything in perfect harmony
And as the stars fill the evening sky
Without us sensing life is passing by
So if you want a solution, my friend Seize this moment this day before it ends
Turn to him dont you see its so clear Believe in Allah Hes always near.
So what a wonderful world this would be
If we all open our eyes to see
He is all that we need right now
And we can all come together somewhere, somehow

Why Are The Drums So Silent? (Dawud Wharnsby Ali)

A ll the sounds that surround us,
All the noises that dumbfound us,
The clatter and the clamor of the clutter in our lives.
Cars and streets make silence shatter, Idle minds fill up with idle chatter,
If we fill our void, that's all that matters.

Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm?
What's wrong with you and I?
Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm,
From the heels of believers,

Marching to the garden as they strive?
We digitize the revelation,
Does our rehearsed recitation,
Go any deeper than our throats?
Our calls to prayer seem to rise up to the sky,
Conferences and lectures, seminars for you and I,
The words that blow away with anasheed that make us cry.

Yet... Why are the drums so silent? Why can't we hear the rhythm?
What's wrong with you and I? Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm,
From the heels of believers marching to the garden as they strive?
And if we could just be brave enough to be each other mirror,
We may finally recognize, The face of conscience that we fear.
And if we can take the time,
To mute the noise we've built around ourselves,

The rhythm of the heartbeat, And the purpose may be clear.
If we beat the drum, (A whisper of peace),
Beat the drum, (Moving through the land) Beat the drum.
If we beat the drums of hope and faith,
We will all fall into rhythm.
I have faith in you and I.
If we beat the drums of hope and faith,
Then we will feel the rhythm,

From our footsteps and our striving,
Marching to the garden as we try.
If we beat the drums of hope and faith,
We will all fall into rhythm. I have faith in you and I.
If we beat the drums of hope and faith,
Then we will feel the rhythm,
From our footsteps and our striving,
Marching to the garden as we die.
