Some Awesome Quotes About Quran by Scientist Around the World

Assalamualaykum all..

Wow what a long title..heh! I dont know how to simplify it, at same time give a clear idea about the whole article and yeah you can see the title is as clear as crystal right? Mission accomplished! So these are some (there's more of course)  quotes from scientists around the world about divine book, Quran:

1)  Dr. T. V. N. Persaud is Professor of Anatomy, Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health, and Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  There, he was the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy for 16 years.  He is well-known in his field.  He is the author or editor of 22 textbooks and has published over 181 scientific papers.  In 1991, he received the most distinguished award presented in the field of anatomy in Canada, the J.C.B. Grant Award from the Canadian Association of Anatomists.  When he was asked about the scientific miracles in the Quran which he has researched, he stated the following

“The way it was explained to me is that Muhammad was a very ordinary man.  He could not read, didn’t know [how] to write. In fact, he was an illiterate.  And we’re talking about twelve [actually about fourteen] hundred years ago.  You have someone illiterate making profound pronouncements and statements and that are amazingly accurate about scientific nature.  And I personally can’t see how this could be a mere chance.  There are too many accuracies and, like Dr. Moore, I have no difficulty in my mind that this is a divine inspiration or revelation which led him to these statements.”
*It's clear prophet Muhammad SAW never wrote Quran. How on earth he would know about science without any research? Well, yes unless the Creator of whole things told him the facts! Allahu Akbar

2)  Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson is the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA.  Formerly, he was Professor of Ob-Gyn and the Chairman of the Department of Ob-Gyn at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, Tennessee, USA.  He was also the President of the American Fertility Society.  He has received many awards, including the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology Public Recognition Award in 1992.  Professor Simpson studied the following two sayings of the Prophet Muhammad :

{In every one of you, all components of your creation are collected together in your mother’s womb by forty days...}
{If forty-two nights have passed over the embryo, God sends an angel to it, who shapes it and creates its hearing, vision, skin, flesh, and bones....}
He studied these two sayings of the Prophet Muhammad  extensively, noting that the first forty days constitute a clearly distinguishable stage of embryo-genesis.  He was particularly impressed by the absolute precision and accuracy of those sayings of the Prophet Muhammad .  Then, during one conference, he gave the following opinion:
“So that the two hadeeths (the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ) that have been noted provide us with a specific time table for the main embryological development before forty days.  Again, the point has been made, I think, repeatedly by other speakers this morning: these hadeeth scould not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available [at] the time of their writing . It follows, I think, that not only there is no conflict between genetics and religion but, in fact, religion can guide science by adding revelation to some of the traditional scientific approaches, that there exist statements in the Quran shown centuries later to be valid, which support knowledge in the Quran having been derived from God.”
*Did You get it? You will once you  read and understand the Quran
3)  Dr. E. Marshall Johnson is Professor Emeritus of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.  There, for 22 years he was Professor of Anatomy, the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy, and the Director of the Daniel Baugh Institute.  He was also the President of the Teratology Society.  He has authored more than 200 publications.  In 1981, during the Seventh Medical Conference in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Professor Johnson said in the presentation of his research paper:
“Summary: The Quran describes not only the development of external form, but emphasizes also the internal stages, the stages inside the embryo, of its creation and development, emphasizing major events recognized by contemporary science.”
Also he said: “As a scientist, I can only deal with things which I can specifically see.  I can understand embryology and developmental biology.  I can understand the words that are translated to me from the Quran.  As I gave the example before, if I were to transpose myself into that era, knowing what I knew today and describing things, I could not describe the things which were described.  I see no evidence for the fact to refute the concept that this individual, Muhammad, had to be developing this information from some place.  So I see nothing here in conflict with the concept that divine intervention was involved in what he was able to write"
*In other words, Quran is a holy book revealed for humankind
4)  Dr. William W. Hay is a well-known marine scientist.  He is Professor of Geological Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, USA.  He was formerly the Dean of the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida, USA.  After a discussion with Professor Hay about the Quran’s mention of recently discovered facts on seas, he said:
“I find it very interesting that this sort of information is in the ancient scriptures of the Holy Quran, and I have no way of knowing where they would come from, but I think it is extremely interesting that they are there and that this work is going on to discover it, the meaning of some of the passages.”  And when he was asked about the source of the Quran, he replied: “Well, I would think it must be the divine being.”
*Ah yes I agree with you Dr William!
5)  Dr. Gerald C. Goeringer is Course Director and Associate Professor of Medical Embryology at the Department of Cell Biology, School of Medicine, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, USA.  During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Goeringer stated the following in the presentation of his research paper:
“In a relatively few aayahs (Quranic verses) is contained a rather comprehensive description of human development from the time of commingling of the gametes through organogenesis.  No such distinct and complete record of human development, such as classification, terminology, and description, existed previously.  In most, if not all, instances, this description antedates by many centuries the recording of the various stages of human embryonic and fetal development recorded in the traditional scientific literature.”
*Do you still doubting about how scientific the Quran is?
6)  Dr. Yoshihide Kozai is Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University, Hongo, Tokyo, Japan, and was the Director of the National Astronomical Observatory, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan.  He said:
“I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in [the] Quran, and for us the modern astronomers have been studying very small pieces of the universe.  We’ve concentrated our efforts for understanding of [a] very small part.  Because by using telescopes, we can see only very few parts [of] the sky without thinking [about the] whole universe.  So, by reading [the] Quran and by answering to the questions, I think I can find my future way for investigation of the universe.”
*Quran gives him a very clear idea about his research and made he convince to further his study on universe
7)  Professor Tejatat Tejasen is the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand.  Previously, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the same university.  During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Tejasen stood up and said:
“During the last three years, I became interested in the Quran . From my study and what I have learned from this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means.  Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth, which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the one who is eligible [as the] creator.  This creator must be God.  Therefore, I think this is the time to say La ilaha illa Allah, there is no god to worship except Allah (God),Muhammadur rasoolu Allah, Muhammad is Messenger (Prophet) of Allah (God).  Lastly, I must congratulate for the excellent and highly successful arrangement for this conference . I have gained not only from the scientific point of view and religious point of view but also the great chance of meeting many well-known scientists and making many new friends among the participants.  The most precious thing of all that I have gained by coming to this place is La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah, and to have become a Muslim.”
*So what's in your head after read this confession from a scientist who did research, he found the truth about Quran and embraces Islam after that.
After all these examples we have seen about the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran and all these scientists’ comments on this, let us ask ourselves these questions:
~ Could it be a coincidence that all this recently discovered scientific information from different fields was mentioned in the Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago?
~ Could this Quran have been authored by Muhammad  or by any other human being?
The only possible answer is that this Quran must be the literal word of God, revealed by Him. So now, let's start understand and study the Quran. More important, practice and spread the holy words to people, inshaallah..Yes I know you can do it buddies!

Hulala! Fingertips' World!

This is just a made up story, but it might become real, who knows? So grab some lessons here about how's Facebook or any social network could mess up our life.

Mr X: Oh man! I love Facebook, it's really help!

Mr Z: Well I cant agree with you more! I love it too. It's makes our work much easier now.

Mr X: I have to admit, Facebook mean world to me

Mr Z: Wow, that's creeping me! lol well am so much happy with this Facebook things!

Mr X: If it's shut down, our job will slow down too..

Mr Z: I bet you, they won't do that because Facebook is a golden pool you know even for us.

Mr X: Oh yeahh! that's blown me away, so what's our next plan? do you have any in your head?

Mr Z: Well we had investigated and studied on our next target so now just same method as before, log in your Facebook and see the latest news of our target. Mark the movement and we gonna bite our bait. This is a big deal dude, don't screw it up.

Mr X: Give it to me man! Don't worry!

Mr Z: Ah yeah you are the guy!

Mr X log in to his Facebook account and search for his next target and see the latest update, he withdraws a spooky smile once he read the update..

Mr X: Target is mark, she's now alone at bus stop. Move forward. Meet up at our port!
Mr Z: Roger and out!

And you can guess what's happen next aren't you?  Do you think this story came from a paranoia person? Me?! Well I'm serious, this is not impossible to happen nowadays, as we are connected with people so much on the net. I just wanna say that, we must be very careful to share our private life with others especially on the net because you might put your life on the line. Of course you can put any update but make sure it's not too detail. Like in this case, this lady told everyone that she is waiting for bus and will be at symposium on 2pm. The culprit had planned properly from the beginning and Facebook (Twitter, Myspace or any other social networks) make their job easier as they know the movement of the target. Does it makes sense?

So people, especially ladies set your account with private setting so you won't become the next target and your each-angle photos might safe from a bad dude that looking for a muslimah pictures to edit and change your picture from fully covered girl to XXX picture and spread it (Yes!this happened girls!Fitnahs are hanging and lingering around). Hulala, this is a fingertips' world buddies! Please put on extra protection and super careful, think many times before you write your updates and upload your photos on net. Instead of worse effect, social networks would also give a good effect, well it's really depend on how you use it! Just a humble reminder for you and of course to me as well.

London : 30 couples divorce within 9 months because of Facebook (Metro: 01/23/11) and I found in holy book(Quran) Its says:

"Do not cause your own destruction" (2: 195)

Peace out!

Allah Knows Best.

Shame On ME!

bl

Shame on ME,
When I whine for a small tests given to me by GOD,
While I'm watching an old lady with a huge basket on her back,
walking under the hot sun trading the things she picked up from the streets,
and she smiled when she passed by me.

Shame on ME,
When I was too lazy to cram on night for studying,
While I'm watching the blind man,
with a lot of books on his right hand, walking with his stick on another hand,
he entered the library with no body helps him,
and he smiled even he don't know to whom.

Shame on ME,
When I was wearing an Arabic name and people easily knew that I was a Muslim,
while I'm not practicing Islam in my life,
and I'm watching the newly Muslim whose struggle to practice Islam,
she goes against her culture and her family for a piece of clothes on her head,
and I saw no fear on her eyes.

Shame on ME,
When I was born as Muslim and I'm not inviting others to Islam,
and I was failed to show the beauty of Islam,
while I'm living in the harmony community with a freedom of religion was proclaimed,
and I was pointed out to others for this responsibility of mine.

Shame on ME,
When I'm telling people the 'DO' and 'DON'T',
while I'm still doing the 'DON'T'
and when I'm watching people with a feeling that I was the only person who always right,
and I was forgot that GOD always watching me,
and He knows what's my heart whispering.

Shame on ME,
When I knew how worse the world is,
and when I blame on others for what's happened to the community,
while I'm still attached to the worldly things and was slipped over and over again,
even I knew that I was the witness of this period, the human corrupted era
but still I don't help on anything to make it better.

Shame on ME,
when I knew that GOD will definitely ask me what on earth am I doing in this world,
but still I was whine, lazy, fake and blaming others,
while am crying to HIM,
to not punish me on the Judgement day,
when there's no body else for me either to help or to blame on.

OH please! Wake up! Wake up Muslim! You are not belong here! Work for your 'real' home! Don't be tricked by shaiton!

Momma, why we can't see the God?

I tried to find Him on the Christian cross,
but He was not there;

I went to the temple of the Hindus and to the old pagodas,
but I could not find a trace of Him anywhere…

I searced on the mountains and in the valleys
but neither in the heights nor in the depthswas I able to find Him.

I went to the Ka’bah in Mecca,
but He was not there either…

I questioned the scholars and philosophers
but He was beyond their understanding…

Then I looked into my heart and it was there
where He dwelled that I saw Him,
He was nowhere else to be found…

Brother'S Dress Code

Example only! Of course, it's not Malaysia, you can see the Eiffel tower there

Oh, it's pretty hot! The clouds are so clear and the sunlight reaches everyone on a crowded street of Jalan Tengku Abdul Rahman. Well, a normal weather in tropical country, such as Malaysia. My eyes caught a lovely couple, for am really sure that they're a Muslim husband and wife, of course by just saw their dress, it's easy! Hm let's continue, the woman outfits was MashaAllah! It's fully covered, showing nothing escape her face and hands but the man...dududuh! Most of times is in a jeans and t-shirt, or perhaps shorts and t-shirt sometimes in a-bit-tight t-shirt and jeans. Well, yes I've seen for much of time, thats why I was dare to write this. I'm not yelling "HARAM" at these men, yes because their dress code isn't same as Muslim women dress code but somehow, this image has create an arguments of many non-Muslim that women are oppressed and have too many rules for their outfits.

Cool!
Muslim man should be modest as well in their dress, loose t-shirt and long sleeves pants, is Ok or perhaps a loose jeans is fine or thobes with long sleeves and if you are super-cool put on head covered(Kufi or turban) as well. So both husband and wife will enjoy the heat together(Wohaa!) and people especially non-Muslim won't look at you and they're look is like "Man, why you forced her to wear this in hot! Poor woman!". Men tend to take their dress code for granted(Not all,OK) as they think that the women's code is more crucial thus spend their lives lecturing women about what to wear and what not to wear, perhaps they'd forgotten the fact, that the disobedience to Allah is disobedience to Allah whether you are a man or a woman. So, lets check out the dress code for Muslim men according to Quran and Hadith:
1. Trim the moustache and save the beard. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim](*The majority of scholars conclude that the beard is required; some say that it’s strongly preferred*)
2. Not imitate women: "It is haraam (forbidden)for women to imitate men and men to imitate women in the way they dress, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5546.
3. It is Sunnah to pay attention to keeping one’s clothes clean, without feeling arrogant or exaggerating about that. Prophets SAW said: “No one will enter Paradise in whose heart is a mustard-seed of arrogance.” A man said: “What if a man likes his clothes to look nice and his shoes to look nice?” He said: “Allaah is Beautiful and loves beauty; arrogance means rejecting the truth and looking down on people.” Narrated by Muslim, 91.
It is haraam for the Muslim man to let any garment he wears hang down beneath his ankles (an action known as isbaal); the limit for any garment is the ankles.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said; “Whatever of the lower garment is beneath the ankles is in the Fire.Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5450.
It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are three to whom Allaah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection and will not look at them or praise them, and theirs will be a painful torment.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) repeated it three times. Abu Dharr said: “May they be doomed and lost; who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said: “The one who lets his garment hang beneath his ankles, the one who reminds others of favours he has done, and the one who sells his product by means of false oaths.”
Narrated by Muslim, 106.
4. Abu Dawood (3140) and Ibn Maajah (1460) narrated that ‘Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not show your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of anyone, living or dead.” (The majority of fuqaha’ are of the view that these ahaadeeth should be followed and they stated that a man’s ‘awrah is from the navel to the knee. See al-Mughni, 2/284 )-Some are of the opinion this is not authentic as there is another hadith stating the Prophet was riding a mule and his thigh was showing. However, most scholars say it is authentic and a man should cover navel to knee.
5. It was narrated by Ahmad and al-Nasaa’i, and by al-Tirmidhi who classed it as saheeh, and by Abu Dawood, and by al-Haakim who classed it as saheeh, and by al-Tabaraani, and classed as saheeh by Ibn Hazm, from Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my ummah, and forbidden for the males.”
Items died with saffron dye Narrated Anas: The Prophet forbade men to use saffron. (Book #72, Hadith #737)
6. Lower the gaze and guard the private parts from illegal sexual acts.
7. Dress modestly.
8. Be distinct and do not resemble the unbelievers.
So in reality, how many men really follow these rules? Brother, don't just talk about women dress in Islam, when your own dress code was a fail. Yes, please wake up and check your dress code whether it's complies with these rules or not. As following the rules is important to sisters, so it do for brothers. Also, bare in mind that the rules of lowering the gaze applies whether the woman is wearing a burqa or a bikin. It's not that because the lady has covered properly so you can stare at her for your pleasure. Follow what's prophet SAW and his companions did in their era, hows they dress, their manners, their kindness, their gentleness towards their wives. Brothers need to reflect on these characteristics in your own lives and I bet you, there's no other example is better then theirs.

A huge applause for a Muslim men whose struggling to follow the prophet SAW footsteps on whatever they did. Well done for brothers whose manage to follow the dress code for Muslim men and are modest. Alhamdulillah for brothers whose dress properly, lower their gaze and purify their gaze from seeing things that are prohibited (PORNOGRAPHY) because they are rare indeed! May Allah accepts all your good deeds and rewards you in hereafter, inshaallah! As the Prophet SAW said: "Glad tiding to the Strangers."

Allahua'lam..Allah knows best..

Epic Muslim warrior. Please check the dress code, does this dress complies the rules? Perfect! Except the beard

So,what color are you?

I love this photo! Other than cute, it is so meaningful. The picture shows that Islam unites people around the world, no matter what's color you are or what's language you used to speak and yeah, Islam not considering race or lineage as determining factors in distinguishing people.

"O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them twain hath spread abroad a multitude of men and women." (The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 4(An-Nisa'): Verse 1)

"And it is a sign of Allah that he created the heavens and the earth And He created the diversity of languages and colors" [The Holy Qur'an,Chapter 30 (Ar-Rum) : Verse 30;22]

However, its criterion is piety and righteousness. Allah Almighty says:

'O mankind! We have created you from a single male and female and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know each other. The most honorable of you in the sight of Allah are surety the righteous." [The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 49 (Al-Hujurat) : Verse 13]

Even the Prophet's companions after embracing Islam, they called themselves Muslims. Only Muslims. They're so cool, don't you think so?  They never differentiated themselves from any other Muslim who is from different race even there were some companions who were non-Arabs, like Suhayb, who is from Rome , He did not address himself as Roman Muslim. Neither did Bilal(r.a). Did he call himself as African or Abisynian Muslim? No!

They are nothing but names which you yourselves have given, you and your forefathers. God has sent down no authority for them. They are following nothing but conjecture and what their own selves desire. And that when guidance has reached them from their Lord! [The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 53 (An-Najm) : Verse 23]

Once there's a man visited the Prophet's masjid in Madinah. He saw a group of people sitting and discussing their faith together. So he went to join the conversation. Among them were Salman (who came from Persia,Iran now ), Suhayb who grew up in the Eastern Roman empire and was regarded as a Greek, and Bilal who was an African. The man then said:

"If the (Madinan) tribes of Aws and Khazraj support Muhammad, they are his people (that is, Arabs like him). But what are these people doing here?"

The Prophet was so upset when this was reported to him. Straightaway, he went to the masjid and summoned people to a Salat. He then addressed them saying:

"O people, know that the Lord and Sustainer is One. Your ancestor is one, your faith is one. The Arabism of anyone of you is not from your mother or father. It is no more than a tongue (language). Whoever speaks Arabic is an Arab."
(As quoted in Islam The Natural Way by Abdul Wahid Hamid p. 125

Other then this, there are many hadith, which repeatedly strike on the Arab pride of jahiliyyah. Arabs before Islam used to look down upon others especially blacks people. The Prophet repeatedly contrasted the believing Africans versus non-believing Arab nobles.

The Prophet said: You should listen to and obey your ruler even if he was an Ethiopian slave whose head looked like a raisin (Bukhari).
Now lets ponder on this: When the Muslims conquered Makkah, victorious after years of persecution, then war with the non-believing Quraysh, the Prophet went straight to the Kaba. This was the height of the victory of Islam. He brought some other Muslims with him. He could have chosen only Muslims from the Quraysh, people of his own ethnic and tribal background. He also could have chosen only Arabs or only those of the old noble classes.
But two of the people who entered the Kaba with the Prophet were Bilal ibn Rabah and Zaid ibn Haritha. Bilal, an African and a former slave. Zaid was also not of high status from the tribal Quraysh point of view. Then entered a Qurayshi, Abdullah bin Omar, may Allah be pleased with all of them. On this day of victory, success and happiness was for all Muslims, no matter who they were or where they come from.

It is confirmed in the narration of the two freedmen among the Companions who quarreled, whereupon each one hurled at the other the name of his ethnic origin by way of insult, namely: "You Copt!" and "You Abyssinian!" Hearing this, the Prophet (saws) said to them: "Stop this, for you are now both from Aal(family) Muhammad." (Abu al-Yusr `Abidin _al-Qawl al-Wathiq fi Amr al-Raqiq_ citing al-Sayyid al-Hifni's _ al-Jawahir al-Hisan fi Tarikh al-Habashan)

'The Prophet said: 'Indeed my friends and allies are not the tribe of so and so. Rather, my friends and allies are the pious wherever they may be.'

Can you imagine if the Prophet and his companions just care about their tribe, Islam would never reach your country, it will just stay in Arab land and for Arabs. Does it makes sense to you? We are Muslim, we are brothers and sisters by Aqidah. Support each other, love each other by recommend good deeds and avoid bad deeds. Never look down to others as you don't know, he/she might be much better than you in Allah's sight. Allahua'lam.

Why Should I Marry You?

Once there was a very handsome, pious, well educated young man, whose parents emphasised for him to get married. they had seen so many marriage proposals, and he had turned them all down. The parents thought it was becoming a little ridiculous or suspected that he may have someone else in mind.

However every time the parents left the girls house, the young man would always say 'she's not the one!'

The young man only wanted a girl who was religious and practicing, however one evening his mother arranged for him, to meet a girl, who was religious, and practicing. On that evening, the young man, and girl, were left to talk, and ask each other questions. (As one would expect). The young man, being a gentleman that he was allowed, the lady to ask first.

The young girl asked the young man so many questions, she asked about his life, his education, his friends, his family, his habits, his hobbies, his lifestyle, his enjoyment, his pastime, his experiences, his shoe size. The young man replied to all of her questions, without tiring, and politely, with a smile the young girl took up nearly all of the time, over an hour, and felt bad, and asked the young man "do you have any questions?"

The young man said, "it's ok". I only have 3 questions. The young girl thought, "wow, only 3 questions okay, shoot". The young man's first question was, "Who do you love the most in the world, someone who's love nothing would ever overcome?" She said, "this is an easy question; my mother", he smiled.

Second question, he asked, "you said that you read a lot of qur'an, could you tell me which surahs you know the meaning of?"

Hearing this she went red and embarrassed and said, I do not know the meaning of any yet, but I am hoping to soon insha'allah I've just been a bit busy.

The third question the young man asked was, "I have been approached for my hand in marriage, by girls that are a lot more prettier than you, why should I marry you?"

Hearing this the young girl was outraged, she stormed off to her parents with fury, and said I do not want to marry this man he is insulting my beauty, and intelligence. And the young man and his parents, were once again, left without an agreement of marriage. This time, the young mans parents were really angry, and said what did you do to anger that girl, the family were so nice, and pleasant, and they were religious like you wanted. "What did you ask the girl??" Tell us!

The young man said, "firstly I asked her, who do you love the most? she said, her mother."

The parents said "so, what is wrong with that??" The young man said, ''no one, is Muslim, until he loves Allah, andhis messenger (saw) more than anyone else in the world. If a woman loves Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) more than anyone, she will love me and respect me, and stay faithful to me, because of that love, and fear for Allah (swt). and we can share this love, because this love is greater than lust for beauty".

The young man said, "then I asked, you read a lot of qur'an, can you tell me the meaning of any surah? And she said no, because I haven't had time yet. So I thought of that hadith 'ALL humans, are dead except for those who have knowledge' She has lived 20 years and not found ANY time, to seek knowledge, whywould I marry a woman, who does not know her rights, and responsibilities, and what will she teach my children, except how to be negligent, because the woman IS the madrasa (school) and the best of teachers. And a woman who has no time for Allah, will not have time for her husband".

"The third question I asked her was, that a lot of girls, more prettier than her, had approached me for marriage, why should I choose you? That is why she stormed off, getting angry". The young man's parents said "that is a horrible thing to say, why would you do such a thing, we are going back there to apologise". The young man said "I said this on purpose, to test whether she could control her anger. The Prophet (saw) said 'do not get angry, do not get angry, do not get angry' when asked how to become pious; because anger is from Satan. If a woman cannot control her anger with a stranger she has just met,do you think she will be able to control it with her husband??".

So, the moral of this story is, a marriage is based on:
*knowledge, not looks,
*practice, not preaching,
*Forgiveness, not anger,
*spiritual love, not lust.
*and compromise

One should look for a person who:

1) Has love for Allah (swt) and the messenger (saw)
2) Has knowledge of the deen, and can act upon it.
3) can control their anger
4) and willing to compromise.
And it goes both ways, so women seeking a man, should look for the same things.

Aisha'h r.a reports "One day I was on a camel which was somewhat difficult to control and the Prophet s.a.w remarked "you must be compassionate, whenever there is compassion in something it adorns it, and when it is removed from something it disgraces it". reported by Imam bukhari(al-adab al-mufrad)

Smile Or Die :O

I have no idea about my future, but I'm working so hard for it! Just like I don't know whether I qualified enough for Jannah but am striving for it! and lets Allah decides for me the rest! I choose to believe that everything that has happened in my life happened for a reason. I have made good decisions that support a positive, wonderful life. I will not look back unless it is to learn or appreciate something or to teach someone else a valuable life lesson.

...If you feel that you don't live well, Know that, you don't pray well

"....when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him" Surah 3 Al Imran - Ayah 159
