Ya Allah, I'm hurt!

Ya Allah…..!
It hurts when I have to let go the things I really love..
It hurts when I have to lose something that I really want..
It hurts, Allah… it hurts..
But believe me, Ya Allah..
I will feel hurt most when I know that I have hurt You..
It hurt most, Allah.. believe me.. believe me….
I realize that I can never live without Your mercy..
I realize that I can never smile without the conscious that You are pleased with me..
I realize that I can never lead my life if You are unhappy with me..
I am sorry.. I am really really sorry..
For I have neglected You for long time..
For I have loved others more than I should love You..
For I have prioritized others more than I should.. Even then…
You still give me food to eat..
when I am not supposed to eat what I shouldn’t eat You still give me eyes to see..
when I am not supposed to see what I shouldn’t see! You still give me ears to hear..
when I am not supposed to hear what I shouldn’t hear! You still give me skin to touch..
when I am not supposed to touch what I shouldn’t touch! You still give the air I’m breathing now..
when I have done tonnes of mistakes.. How can someone not fall for You??
You are very kind Ya Allah..
You are great Ya Allah..
but I forget.. I’m so occupied with this world..
I’m so busy with my life..
I’m so so so busy about myself..
I can never forgive myself if this were to happen again..
how can I do that to You Allah…
I’m such an arrogant slave..
I’m not thankful to You…
I feel embarrassed Ya Allah. I’m embarrassed…
Ya Allah! but please Ya Allah… soon one day I will be meeting You Ya Allah!
Forgive me on that day Ya Allah Have Mercy on that day Ya Allah
Shower your BLESSINGS on that day Ya Allah that is my only wish…Ya Allah!

My Beloved

There was a time in my youth,
When Islam was only a custom.
They said "say La IIaha IIIa Allah,..
And pray, you'll go to Heaven."

Ah, how simple, no struggle in this,
Just a word, and simple act.
Thereafter I'm absorbed in this world again,
With my 'assured' place in Paradise intact.

But this was not to be my fate
For ALLAH chose to guide my heart.
I learnt of a man who struggled so hard
When his mission was from the start.

Spoke gently, kindness he knew.
Never fearing to say what's right,
His conviction in ISLAM was true.

The touch of his hand was as soft as silk
To comfort a crying child.
To mend his clothes, or do the chores,
Never complaining, he always smiled.

A living he made with his bare hands,
The same that held his mighty sword.
Valour shone from the edge of his blade,

His smell was always of musk,
And cleanliness he kept at his best.
Stark contrast with the heroes of today,
Who stink of beer and sweat.

He held the hands of his companions.
Unashamed to play with many children.
So modest, so humble, a perfect example,
That strangers could not recognise him.

His eyes slept little for nights were precious,
His prayers he treasured much greater.
To pray Tahajjud in the depths of night,
Seeking forgiveness, and nearness to his Creator.

He broke his tooth for me at Uhud,
And bled for me at Ta'if.
He cried for me, tears of concern,
Just so I could have this belief.

His enemies admired his teachings,
Uniting every religion, every clan.
Till ISLAM came to every corner of the world,
O, but indeed he was only a man.

To own a house, or build his wealth
Was not his main priority.
To establish ISLAM was more essential,
To bring us under a Higher Authority.

Don't you want him to plea for your case,
When before ALLAH-The Judge-you stand?
Don't you wish to be around his fountain,
A burning desire to drink from his hand?

So I love him more than all creation,
My Leader, my Humble Prophet.
Muhammad (SAWS) was a mercy to all mankind

And to me, he is ... MY BELOVED!

BY Allama Iqbal
He slept on a mat of rushes, But the crown of Chosroes lay beneath the feet of his followers; He chose the nightly solitude of Mount Hira, And founded a nation, law and government; He passed his nights with sleepless eyes, That his Millet might sleep on Chosroes throne In the hour of battle, iron was melted by the flash of his sword. At prayer time, tears fell like drops of rain from his eyes. In his prayer for Divine help, his Amen' was a sword, Which extirpated the lineage of kings. He inaugurated a new Order in the world, He brought the empires old to an end: In his sight the high and the low were one, He sat with the slave at table one; He burnt clear the distinctions of birth and clan. His fire consumed all this trash and bran

Keeping My Love For You

A young girl I know who is much in love,
she's always infatuated with the idea of love.

She sees couples holding hands,
she comes to wonder,
when will it be my turn...

She wants to keep that heart full of infatuation,
for the right man, the wonderful husband.

She sees handsome men with beautiful women,
do I even look like anyone of them?
She gets envious of these people,
hoping that she could be just like them.

Am I not beautiful or smart enough?
Because I'm being ignored and they'd always blabber stuff.

O dear God, help me please,
correct my intention and put my heart at ease.

Make me tawakkal and redha,
make me dependent on You, ya Allah.

I don't want to be envious of these worldly things,
please console me, tell me I'm doing the right thing.

Tell me it's right to keep first my love,
for You ya Rabbi, and for the man I love.

When he comes to take my hand,
I promise to be the best I can.
A wife, a daughter, a mother and a child,
of course being Your servant is the most worthwhile.

Potrait of a friend

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts,
Or fears. But I can listen to you, and together we will
Search for answers.

I can't change your past with all its heartache and pain,
Nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.

Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
And help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
From your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
Room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
And put them back in place.

I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.

May Allah Make It Easy In Whatever We Do

Inshallah

The Pious Wife

The Marriage to her is one half of the deen,
The benefit Allah has put in her is yet to be seen.
She wears her hijab for her Lord, to please and obey,
She turns to Allah for salaah five times each day.
She prays in the night and makes sure to awake you,
and sprinkles you with water if sleep should overtake you.

She protects her chastity with firmness because she does not desire,
to displease Allah and end up in the tormenting fire.
She asks the people who know when matters need to be rectified,
She is not blinded by self righteousness and foolish pride.
She is humble and kind to her husband as Allah has commanded,
Never leaving him alone, isolated, nor stranded.

She opens her mouth only to say what is best,
Not questioning her husband when he makes a request.
She takes care of herself and never ceases to try,
To beautify herself so to please his eye.
She is a pleasure Allah has given to us in this life,
Be thankful to Allaah alone for His blessing, THE PIOUS WIFE.

Beautiful Poems By Imam Shafi' (Rahimullah)

A friend who does not benefit at the time of hardships,
Is close to an enemy on the scales,
The friend does not remain, during all times,
Nor does the brother, except for consolation.

I searched the days, with all my strengths
for a brother to trust, but my search was fruitless,
The lands and those who live them were barren,
As though its people were not people [I wanted them to be

If a man spreads his secret with his own tongue
and blames another... then he is a fool.
If his own breast is too narrow to conceal his own secret,
Then the breast of the one in whom he places it is even narrower.

Part from the days where you used to do as you wish
And restrain your soul when the decree of Allah is ordained
And don't despair over the events of the past
For none of the events of the dunya were ever meant to remain
And be a man who is firm upon his affairs
And whose character is that of pardoning and nobility
And there is no sadness or happiness that is continuous
Just as there is there is no comfort or pain.

If you are a person who is satisfied with what he has
Then you and the owner of all possessions are equal
And upon he who's open valley death descends upon
Then there is no earth or sky to protect you from it
And the earth of Allah is vast but
When the ordainment of Allah descends even the open valley congests.

~ Imam Shafi

و من الشَقاوة أن تحبَ
و من تحبُ يحبُ غيرك
أو أن تريد الخير للأن
سان و هو يريد ضيرك

"And from misery is that you love, and (the one) who you love, loves other than you,
or that you want good for a person, and he wants to hurt you".

I complained to Waki about the weakness of my memory
So he ordered me to abandon disobedience
And informed me that the knowledge is light
And that the light of Allaah is not given to the disobedient

- Imam Shafi

لسانك لا تذكر به عورة امرئ *** فكلّـك عورات وللناس ألسـن

وعينك إن أبدت إليك معايباً *** فدعها وقل : يا عين للناس أعينُ

Let not your tongue mention the shame of another
For you yourself are covered in shame and all men have tongues.
If your eye falls upon the sins of your brother
Shield them and say: "O my eye! All men have eyes!"

Baby, Its all good

What do you see when you look at me
Do you see someone limited, or someone free
All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair
Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated
They are so thankful that they are not me
Because they would like to remain 'free'

Well free isn't exactly the word I would've used
Describing women who are cheated on and abused
They think that I do not have opinions or voice
They think that being hooded isn't my choice
They think that the hood makes me look caged
That my husband or dad are totally outraged
All they can do is look at me in fear
And in my eye there is a tear

Not because I have been stared at or made fun of
But because people are ignoring the One up above
On the day of judgment they will be the fools
Because they were too ashamed to play by their own rules
Maybe the guys won't think I am a cutie
But at least I am filled with more inner beauty
See I have declined from being a guy's toy
Because I won't let myself be controlled by a boy

Real men are able to appreciate my mind
And aren't busy looking at my behind
Hooded girls are the ones really helping the Muslim cause
The role that we play definitely deserves applause
I will be recognized because I am smart and bright
And because some people are inspired by my sight
The smart ones are attracted by my tranquillity
In the back of their mind they wish they were me

We have the strength to do what we think is right
Even if it means putting up a life long fight
You see we are not controlled by a mini skirt and tight shirt
We are given only respect, and never treated like dirt
So you see, we are the ones that are free and liberated
We are not the ones that are sexually terrorized and violated
We are the ones that are free and pure
We're free of STD's that have no cure

So when people ask you how you feel about the hood
Just sum it up by saying, 'Baby its all good'.

Love from your wife

I never can find the right words to say,
I just go with the flow each & everyday.
I never knew there could be love like this,
In a world full of cayos its always you i miss.
If there was one thing I could ask Allah for,
I would tell him that its you i adore.
My heart skips a beat when i hear the door,
because i know its you coming back for more.
Since we had the two babies together,
I know we can withstand any kinda weather.
I will make dua for you and me,
that we can be in Jennah and always be.
I will love you forever,
you have the key to my heart,
you unlocked it so now we can never part.
My eyes are full with tears,
but I'm not going to cry,
I just cant wait for the day that i die.
The sooner that happens,
the sooner it will be.
With Allah's mercy,
Just You and Me.

The Bearded one

Posted by
Miz Na

Glorified be He who beautifies women with long locks of hair
And Men with long beards
There is beauty in the beard
Aye, there is beauty in the beard!

When the lion roars all the animals submit
For the lion is the king of the jungle
The lion with its glorious mane
And a Muslim man grows his mane in pride
Showing the rest of humanity that he is to be respected
Can one imagine a lion without its mane?
Nay, thou canst not!
Then imagine a man without his beard

Woe to worldly women who mock the beards so!
Desiring husbands with clean shaven faces
Woe to women who mock the Prophets Sunnah
In the name of hygiene, neatness and smooth texture
Indeed the women of this world cannot like the beard
But she who wants Paradise adores the beard!

A beard is a gift given to man
Something only he can grow; a woman never can!
When he ponders, he gently strokes it;
When he eats, it stores food;
When he is with kids, they play with it adoringly;
When he is with his wife, she fondles it lovingly;
When the enemy see it, fear is struck in their hearts!
Ah! there is indeed beauty in the beard!

All the Prophets had beards - yes they did!
Muhammad had a beard - so big! so big!
All the companions had beards - o yes! o yes!
All the sages had beards - I know! I know!
All the wise have beards - tis true! tis true!
All the pious have beards - you see! you see!
All the Muslims have beards!? - if only! if only!

Who did not have beards? The kafirun!
Who had clean shaven faces? The kafirun!
Who grew their moustaches? The kafirun!
"And what did our Prophet order?" I here you ask
He ordered us to lengthen the beard and trim the moustache!
Lengthen the beard and trim the moustache!
What greater reason that this can there be
The fact that our Prophet told us to see
That we make ourselves appear to the world
As full bearded men with honour untold

O Muslim brother! Why do you desire to look like a woman
When your blessed facial hair is the differece between you and the
opposite gender?
O poor Muslim brother! Why do you imitate the kafir
Instead of following the Prophet of Islam?
O silly Muslim sister! Why are you so blind?
Infatuated with Hollywood Bollywood actors who have no mind!
O wretched sister! Are you not scared of your choice?
You would rather have a feminine monkey instead of an exalted manly ape!

So indeed I love my beard
And adore the curls and tangles
Which no oil, gel or superglue can ever straighten
My glorious long, curly, messy, fluffy beard!
The playhouse for kids;
The envy of Malaysian people
And the beloved of Allah!
I maybe rejected by worldly women because of this hair on my face
But who care! For my Mum loves it and she puts all such sisters to disgrace!
Be patient Muslim brothers, who shun the trendy look for a Prophetic pose
Paradise with the wide eyed Houris is our final abode

To My future husband

O My Love
Where are you???
Come and take me!
Take my heart and my soul
I promise to love you
Until the day I die
I'll hold you tight
And never make you cry
Because without you
I can not live
I want you by my side everyday when I awake
I'll be your dream wife
And give you all my life
I'll cook and clean for you
Before a blink of an eye
Dinner will be ready and served
When you come home from a long day at work.
I'll give you beautiful kids
And with Allah’s help
We'll raise them the best way we can
I'll never hurt you
Or talk back to you
Because between me and you
InshaAllah there will never be a fight
And I may not know anything about you
But in my heart I know that I already truly love you
I pray to Allah everyday
To give me a sign
That you are near
Because I've been searching
For you for so many years
And I can not wait for the day
When you come and take me away
Because I know from above
In our books
We are written for each other
Until that day comes
My heart will be incomplete
And it will be filled with so much pain
Pain that can only be healed
When you are here
And I'll dream of you every night
And wish you were here
Sleeping by my side holding me tight

If The Nature Could Speaks

IF THE NATURE COULD SPEAKS,
IT WOULD SCREAMS AND CRIES,

TELLING US HOW MUCH IT SUFFERED,
AND HOW DEEP IT WAS HURT,

IF THE NATURE COULD SPEAKS,
IT WOULD YELLS AND WARNs US,

TO STOP FINISHED UP IT SOURCES,

AND STOP PRETEND LIKE WE NEVER DID WRONG,

IF THE NATURE COULD SPEAKS,
IT WOULD GENTLY ADVISED US,
TO BE KIND AND MORE TOLERANT,
DON’T BE CRUEL AND IMPATIENT.

OR LETTER WE WOULD REGRET,

WHEN THE NATURE STARTS TO REACT,

WHEN IT LOVE TURN INTO CALAMITY,

AND NEXT GENERATION BLAME THE OLD COMMUNITY,

FOR CAUSING THEM TO FACE THE REALITY,

THAT THEY WOULD NEVER FEEL THE WARM HUG AND DEEP LOVE OF NATURE.

“The mischief has appeared in the land and sea, because of the evils earned by the hands of men, so that He may make them taste some of their doings, which haply they may turn back.” Ar-RuM:41

Where Are the Good Men?

The shy girl asked, " Where are the good men ".
A daunting task, I dare comment
Searching from East to West
A leader and protector who impressed

A man true to his Deen
In physical and spiritual being*
His better half he loves to the brim
Meeting a new woman "Excuse me! That's not for him"

The man in the mirror, is not yet that true man
A thing or two he needs to amend
A true man obeys all Allah’s commands
To date only Rasulullah takes that stand**

Is the good man a `rare dying breed'
Countable only by finger tips
To my fellow sisters, don't despair
Keep with Allah and in Jannah you'll find your pair

A true good man not only treats his wife like a Queen
His life revolves around Allah all in
He seeks Jannah, his ultimate dream
The pleasure on earth in not his cream

As life on earth serves as a testing ground
Good and evil do go around
A good man fears none
Neither seeking pleasure nor fun

Mistakes are made
Repentance is his take!***
In Islam the key is simplicity
Even when faced with difficulty

Man tends to change the norm and law
By breaking every bone and jaw
Hiding all his flaws
Evil acts on every floor

When an innocent is killed
They answered with much skill
“Collateral Damage” is the pill****
An antidote – a function it fulfills

Where are the good men?
Not of a perfect ten
But to protect and fend
From the evil others send

* Al-Nawwas bin Sam'an, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported that the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said: "Righteousness is good character, and sin is that which wavers in your heart and which you do not want people to know about." [Muslim]

According to Wabisah bin Ma'bad, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, and he said: "You have come to ask about righteousness ?" " Yes," I answered. He said: "Consult your heart. Righteousness is that about which the soul feels tranquil and the heart feels tranquil, and sin is what creates restlessness in the soul and moves to and fro in the breast, even though people give you their opinion (in your favour) and continue to do so." [A good hadith transmitted from the Musnads of the two Imams, Ahmad bin Hanbal and Al-Darimi

** Al-Quran 68:4 “And indeed, you are of a great moral character

*** From Anas, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say: "Allah the Almighty has said: 'O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and hope in Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds in the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with an earthful of sins and were you then to face Me, without having associated anything with Me, I shall grant you an earthful of pardon.'" [Recorded by Al-Tirmidhi, who said that it is a good and sound hadith

**** “The blood of a man who is a Muslim is not lawful (i.e. cannot be lawfully shed), save if he belongs to one of three (classes): a married man who is an adulterer; life for a life (i.e. for murder); one who is a deserter of his religion, abandoning the community.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Every mistake you make

Every mistake you make,
Every failure, every disappointment,
To keep going on this journey of life is sometimes the hardest thing.
But remember,
Every great person, who has beaten adversity,
Whether from within or without themselves,
Has fallen and stumbled a thousand times.
But they pick themselves up,
Dust themselves down
And carry on.
