When you've become a parent

Bismillah..Assalamualaykum..Hey, I'm back! :D

I'm having a long holiday huh?! Well, yes and I enjoy it, trust me :)
So what happened in back 2 months? Ahhaaa jeng3 *Drum rolls*
Taraaaaa....

Assalamualaykum..my name is Maryam al-haura' :)

Yes, my baby! :)

Alhamdulillah everything went well with His perfect plan, I couldn't say more. My baby is healthy and perfect, alhamdulillah. All experience I gained along the journey, all the struggles and pains, I believe will benefits me much not only in dunya but also in akhirah. So at the moment my mother left my home, the journey of parenting started. It is true that it is never easy to be a parent, the first time baby Haura' cried on top of her lungs, freak my hubby and me out. Phewww of course she stopped cried when she was tired and then fell asleep like nothing ever happened! Oh my Lord, really it was a priceless moment! And we laugh whenever we recall that moment, lol.The first time when it was only me and baby Haura' after my hubby left to his workplace, I remind myself to be positive, she's only a baby, her only way to communicate is crying so it is normal and I have to be calm, don't panic dude!

Now she's almost 2 months, she's getting smarter (She can stays put and watches we while I am praying beside her even when I pray with my hubby, she starts babbling, smile and laugh a bit) and with all my heart I would say, she's the most cute creature on earth, mashaallah, well at least on my sight ;). Well there's a lot of interesting thing change once you have a baby:

♥ You don't need a daily schedule anymore because your baby will fix your daily schedule. Well, it is depend on her to start the day in any time even at 3 am in the morning! As for me, I will automatically awake in every 2 hours to feed her.
You will respect and love your own parents in a brand new way especially your mother after you have went through what she had.
If  the baby is sick, you will feel more severe than if you are sick.
♥ You will appreciate ourselves, yes because you are now a parent to a child.
♥ You become more sensitive on whatever issues related with a baby like when you saw a news on child abuse, you can even cry :'(
♥ You will no longer feel disgust with our baby poo poo otherwise we are so happy! lol
You will feel like an angel whenever you can make the baby stop crying
♥ You will always count your baby's new teeth

You will no longer eager to snap your picture, you will instead taking your baby's picture daily! This is also applies to your photos uploading activity where you will upload your baby's picture more than yours in fb :P

You would think that having more children is not a huge problem.

♥ When you see there are other parents who were holding their baby that was crying, you will understand their situation.

You will cherish your bath time even it is in a short period!

♥ Finally, you start to say 'hello' to the neighbor after having a baby!

You will find out, the things that once you consider important are no longer important after you have a child.

♥ You are aware that it is not difficult to love your children who at first you thought he was a stranger.

♥ Every day is full of surprises!

Interesting isn't it? :D

I believe she will grows smarter and prettier than me (Of course, I'm getting old, no?) and most important is she becomes a piety servant of Allah like Maryam Ali Imran, amin. I aware that me first have to be a piety servant of Allah, inshaallah. Yes, it is a long journey but with Allah's helps inshaallah we can make it, plus both side cooperation of husband and wife. Alhamdulillah for He gave me a very supportive and cooperative plus handsome (enhem) husband. Baby Haura' is indeed the most precious gift for our first anniversary awww :)

Alhamdulillah for everything, thank you for all du'a from whoever I ever met or even never meet. Please keep me in your du'a :)

The Story of Little Angel

It's cold in this huge library as usual, but yet my heart is feeling so warm as I read the story of this little angel. Looking at her pure and innocent face, no one will expected that she has went through a very tough moment in her life. She's only ten and yet she's admiring so many people with her true and genuine story of life. So, here I would like to share with you all, the story of little Bara'a. Do read and feel it, I'm taken aback reflecting on how I reacted on the tests Allah given to me since back and now,yes I'm zero compared to her (ahhh..shame on me!)

Here we go...

Bara’a (In arabic means, innocence) 10, is an Egyptian girl who moved with her parents – who are both doctors – to Saudi Arabia, seeking a better life. Her small family is happy and conservative. Bara’a is a very nimble and clever child to the extent that she memorized the entire Qur’an at the age of ten. Her teacher always said to her that she must be older than what she really is.

All at once, her mother felt severe pain. And after tests and examinations, the result showed that she was in the late stage of cancer. The mother had been thinking for so long whether to tell Bara’a or not. She was afraid that her daughter will wake up someday and won't find her. At last she told her:

“Bara’a, I will be shortly going to heaven. And the Qur’an you memorized, you should read it everyday because it will protect you in this life”.

Bara’a did not understand it very well, but she felt a big change when her mom permanently stayed at the hospital. Since then, she goes to the hospital after school, stays with her mom, read for her Qur’an, and leaves when her father comes.

One day, the father got a phone call from the hospital saying that his wife is in danger, and he has to come quickly. So he hurried up, picked up Bara’a from school, and drove to the hospital. When they arrived to the hospital, he asked Bara’a to stay in the car. At that moment, he was afraid of Bara’a’s shock if his wife is dead, so he told his daughter that he will come back and take her to see her mom. He got out of the car and ran quickly. He was wandering, and his eyes were full of tears. As he was crossing the street to get to the hospital, a speeding car hit him, and he died at the instant.

Bara’a ran to her father, hugged him, and cried to him. He left her in the car to die on the street by himself….

But the tragedy is not over yet…

The mother was told of the death of her husband. After five days only, she passed away, leaving Bara’a alone in this life. Her parent’s friends and some of the Saudi and Egyptian benefactors came together to find a solution for Bara’a and how to take her back to her grandparents in Egypt. Unexpectedly, she feels sever pain. And after the tests, she figured that she has the same disease as her mom, so she smiles and says:

“Thank God. I will soon see my parents.”
Everyone was surprised and astonished – this girl has been facing so many plagues at this age, but she is patient and satisfied with God’s decision. Graudually, her story was spread in the Saudi community. So a Saudi benefactor – who wanted his name to remain unknown – sent Bara’a on his expense to Britain for treatment.

While she is in the hospital, Al-Hafez channel called her (live on TV) to reassure her health condition and asked her to read for them some verses from the Qur’an. So she read in a charming voice; I have never heard such a sweet voice before.

And they called her again before her last coma, and she sang a song for the mother and then prayed for her parents for mercy and forgiveness making million viewers cry.

And the painful days continue in the hospital in Britain. The tumor is spreading in her body. The doctors decided to amputate her legs. She is patient, satisfied with God’s decision, spending her consciousness times in reading the Qur’an. After several days, the tumor had reached her brain.

So the doctors performed an immediate surgery in her brain last week causing her little body  in absolute coma and currently, I heard, she is dead (Innalillah wa innailaihi roji'un), return to the Lord, Allah the Almighty. Rest in peace, little soul. Your story inspired so many people to be patient as you did, whatever tests given to us. I'm sure, there's a lot more untold stories of our little souls out there, they are chosen to bear a tough situation in this world without or knowing that they are, the children of heaven in the afterworld, inshaallah. .

10 Things we waste

1. Knowledge: Wasted when not taking action with it.
2. Actions: Wasted when we do anything without sincerity. Intentions count.
3. Wealth: Wasted when used on things that will not bring us âjr (reward). We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things that have no benefit in this life or in âkhirah (The Hereafter).
4. Hearts: Wasted when empty from the love of Allah, and the longing for Him/Her, and devoid of peace & contentment.
5. Bodies: Wasted when we don’t use them in ibâdah (worship) and service of Allah in serving humankind.
6. Love: Wasted when our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah, but towards something/someone else.
7. Time :Wasted when not used properly, by not doing what is righteous.
8. Intellect: Wasted on things that are detrimental to society and the individual, not in contemplation or reflection.
9. Service: Wasted when in service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah.
10. Dhikr: Wasted when it does not have an effect on our hearts

This is what we call as Optimist! :D

Oh! So optimist, aren't they?
Optimist is key.
If you expect the worst,
The worst will happen,
You are your own stress,
Your own anger,
Your own sadness and frustration,
If you let things bother you, they will,
So don't let them, just be happy,
Nothing in this world is easy,
So make the best of all of it,
Don't dwell on the negatives.
Optimist is key

P/S: My friend, once said in a very sunny day, "I'm wearing the sunglasses because I'm so optimist it's gonna rain." LOL

Never Give up on Anybody

Bismillah..

“A wise man once sat in the audience and cracked a joke. Everybody laughs like crazy. After a moment, he cracked the same joke again, less people laughed this time. He cracked the same joke again and again. When there was no laughter in the crowd , he smiled and said,

“You can’t laugh about the same joke again and again, then why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again?”

Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen everyday. Good day everyone ♥ :)

Being good is useful only when doing good

Bismillah..

While earning your daily bread, be sure you share a slice with those less fortunate. Being good is commendable, but only when it is combined with doing good is it useful. How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong.

Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight.  Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward.  Your life will never be the same again. How beautiful a day can be When kindness touches it!

Good day everyone! :)
